Barrey
D. Davis is the President and Chief Operating
Officer for Coast Business Credit, A Division
Of
Southern Pacific Bank, member FDIC. In his
current
position Mr. Davis is responsible for all
activities
within Coast Business Credit. This includes
all aspects
of portfolio, marketing, underwriting, audit
and
operations departments. Previous to this
position he
was the National Sales Manager for Coast
Business Credit, overseeing all aspects
of marketing and sales
including hiring new staff and opening new
offices, all
marketing literature and advertising.
Prior to joining CBC, Mr. Davis was the
National
Marketing Director for Fremont Financial
Corporation where he was responsible for
over 300% growth in
portfolio between 1993 and 1996. Previous
to that
position he served as Senior Vice President
with Bank
One as team leader for the Northeast region
of Ohio.
He also worked at Fleet National Bank and
Commercial
Credit Corporation in marketing positions.
Among his
many distinctions and awards, Mr. Davis
is a member
of the Commercial Finance Association, the
Turnaround
Management Association and the Association
for
Corporate Growth. Mr. Davis received his
B.A. degree
in English and minor in Accounting from
Loyola
University in Chicago and his MBA from Case
Western
University in Cleveland.
