Leslie Reuter is a senior vice president and manager of City National Bank’s San Fernando Valley commercial and private banking services. She also manages the bank’s Asset Based Lending (ABL) group.
 
Based at City National’s San Fernando Valley Regional Center in Sherman Oaks, Calif., Ms. Reuter leads a team of financial services professionals who deliver the bank’s full array of commercial and private banking products and services to entrepreneurs, small and mid-sized businesses, professionals, high-net-worth individuals, nonprofits and government entities throughout the San Fernando Valley.
 
In addition, Reuter oversees the ABL Audit, ABL Collateral Monitoring and ABL Structuring functions, which serve as a resource to the bank’s other lending units in structuring, documenting and monitoring asset-based loans.
 
Ms. Reuter, who has nearly 30 years of experience in middle market, ABL, small business and corporate lending, joined City National in 2004. Most recently, she served as a senior vice president and asset manager with Fleet Capital Corporation. From 1988 to 2000, Ms. Reuter was a managing director with Bank of America, and for two years she was a vice president with California Federal Savings and Loan Association. She began her career with Crocker National Bank’s factoring subsidiary in 1978, eventually being named vice president and manager.
 
Ms. Reuter, who resides in Calabasas, Calif., holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University.
 
Active in the community, Ms. Reuter is a board member of the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley and sits on the Livable Communities subcommittee. She also is a board member and treasurer of the Commercial Finance Conference of California.
