Cole Taylor Business Capital
Mark opened the first Western US office for Cole Taylor
Business Capital in June, 2010. Cole Taylor is based in
Chicago, IL and is run by Mike Sharkey, the former head
of LaSalle Business Credit. Mr. Looft is a Group Senior
Vice President and targets private companies as well as
private equity backed deals with a borrowing need over
$5 million.
In 2003, Mark opened the Western Region for GMAC
Commercial Finance's asset based lending division. In
1998, Mark opened up the Western US for GE Capital's
Business Credit division. Prior to GE & GMAC, Mark was
the Western Region Sales manager for Fremont
Financial after beginning his career as an auditor with
Foothill Capital in 1990.
Mark graduated from Arizona State University with a
B.S. in Finance. He has served on the CFCC Board since
1997 as a Director including 8 years as a Vice President
and 2 as Secretary/Treasurer. He is currently in charg
of the OC program events.
