Mitchell Cohen
CIT Commercial Services
 
Mitchell F. Cohen is Senior Vice President and Western
Regional Manager of the CIT Group/ Commercial
Services and has more than 20 years of experience in
the financing industry. Prior to assuming this position
in 1996, he was Vice President and Client Credit
Officer. Before joining CIT in 1993, Mitch was Senior
Vice President for Bank of Newport. Prior to that, he
was Senior Vice President with Mitsui Manufacturers
Bank. Mitch started his career with CIT in 1975 in
New York. Mitch earned a Bachelor of Science degree
in accounting from the University of New York and is a
graduate of the University of Washington’s Pacific
Coast Banking School. He has also completed the
Wharton Executive Development Program. Mitch is a member of the Textile Professional Club and the
Commercial Finance Association, as well as a
supporter of the City of Hope Apparel Industries
fund-raising efforts.
