Ronald
E. Garber is Executive Vice President and
Regional Manger of HSBC Business Credit.
He also
serves as Vice President and Director of
Republic
Bank of California, N.A., a position he
has held
since 1989.
Ron attended Pace University, majoring in
Accounting.
He is also a graduate of Stanford University’s
School
of Credit and Financial Management. Ron
began his
career in 1965 with Iselin-Jefferson Financial
Company
as a credit analyst. In 1970 he joined UCB
Factoring
as a Credit Manager. From 1974 to 1985 he
served
as Vice President and
Senior Client Credit Officer of
Manufacturers Hanover Commercial Corp. From
1985
to 1986 he served as Senior Vice President
and
Regional Manager of Associates Commercial
Corp,
Factoring Division. Thereafter, from 1986
to 1989 he
served as Senior Vice President and Regional
Manager
of CIT Factoring Group.
Ron is active in several organizations,
including the
Textile Professional Club, where he served
as past
President, the City of Hope, Professional
and Finance
Association, and the National Jewish Hospital
in Denver, CO. Ron is a Vice President of
the CFCC.
